When Désirée Rodgers was a little girl living on what the rest of Canada calls “the Rock”, she knew there was more to her love for Willy Wonka and his beloved Chocolate Factory than meets the eye. (Or meets the tastebuds.) A connoisseur of quality treats like luxurious chocolate, coveted cookies, and yummy candies, from a young age Désirée held the fine art of confections (and ice cream freezer-raiding) in high esteem. And while her appreciation for eye-pleasing aesthetic eventually led her to a prosperous career in hair styling, it wasn’t long before she merged her two interests—enjoying treats and designing art—into Bloomalicious™.
Every one of her gourmet gift bouquets is individually hand created by Désirée and her team. So fear not: Bloomalicious™ gift baskets aren’t cranked out on some impersonal conveyor belt and stored indefinitely in a cold, industrial-park warehouse. But rather are carefully sculpted from only the most decadent delights.
No, maybe she didn’t end up working for a guy called Mr. Wonka. But as far as Désirée is concerned, she ended up somewhere even better. She ended up at Bloomalicious™. Where she celebrates her strong belief that good people deserve good things. And that it doesn’t get much more good than this.
